I'm back!!

Hi everyone!

So the last two post I published were actually pre done from a bit back. I feel so bad about not blogging, I just sort of lost my motivation for it because of certain things which have happened in my life. It's so crazy to think about how drastic thing have changed from last year and how much I have changed and i feel like i have learnt many things. I want to get back into what I was really passionate about and even though it may not be the same and I may not be posting as often as I used too, I feel I will be more happier with the content on my blog now.

So all of my GCSE exams are over now but before I know it I will be starting sixth form which I can imagine will be quite time consuming so I cant promise to be as frequent as I used to aim at once a week and see how things go, but I want to start posting what I feel like and concentrating more on quality. I think I can honestly say I am not the same person I used to be, with that I have got a completely different new style and I am a lot more into fashion now then I used to be which I am enjoying so much at the moment. I love learning and expressing myself through fashion now, I'm a bit less obsessed with makeup and more obsessed with styling outfits and shopping. So I will probably post a good mixture now, I'm not sure if I should change my name and my blog style to suit what i like more now? I would love to hear your opinions on what you think, I'm currently in the middle of moving house, I have moved but its a lot of stress getting used to the area and moving furniture so I cant say i will have time to blog so often but I'm definitely going to be writing whenever I feel passionate enough too.

But if anyone has any suggestions please comment and with that i would just like to say how much i have missed you all!

Thank you for listening x

The Konjac Face and Body Sponge!

Hi everyone!

Today I'm writing a review on a new product. Its the Konjac sponge, you probably thinking what has this got to do with anything, but this is a face and body sponge!

The Konjac face and body sponge is made up with 100% natural fibers; from the root of the Amorphophallus plant. Its natural alkalinity balances the acidity of the skins oils. The unique net like structure of the sponge gently massages the skin and stimulates blood flow and new growth of skin cells, leaving the skin extremely soft, clean and refreshed.

The Konjac sponge was used by the Japanese for over 1500 years, having originally starting out as a medicine in the sixth century.

The sponges have mineral french red clay which nourishes the skin. There is a sponge for every single skin type, even one for baby's! I have the one for dry + sensitive skin! It is super soft and gentle which I love, its not hurt my skin in any way!

The benefits!

  • Revitalizes the face and body
  • Gently exfoliates your skin, leaving it with a healthy natural glow
  • Massages the skin whilst using-stimulating and encouraging cell renewal
  • Deeply cleanses the pores healing eliminate dirt, excess oil, bacteria, blackheads and blocked pores
  • Does not damage the delicate skin surface and is non abrasive
  • No need for additional cleansers unless you would like to
  • Extra soft texture which is ideal for the most hypersensitive skin.

I can honestly say this makes your skin feel so soft and smooth. It does make it feel really clean as well. I don't recommend using it for removing your makeup thought, I found it didn't do the best job, but this is my favorite for in the morning!

To use the sponge, all you have to do is run it under wonder and gently squeeze out the excess water. Do not wring out your sponge! Then all you do is massage the skin in circular movements with the damp sponge. Rinse the sponge throughout after and gently squeeze out the excess again.
As you can see there is a little string attached so you can hang it in a cool ventilates space for it to dry, you should not leave it in the shower.

The Konjac sponges last around 1-3 months depending on how well you look after it, it should be changes when it start to look tired, I really did notice a difference using this sponge, it makes my skin much more clear and healthy looking!

I never thought sponge would help my skin so much but I am so impressed with this product and its definitely a staple in my skincare routine now! Thanks for reading, I hope you like this review, bye!

Denman Tangle Tamer Hair Brush!

Hi Everyone!

I'm going to review a new hair brush from Denman, and its the tangle tamer. I was very excited to try this brush because I do have very curly and knotty hair, i tend to find it hard to brush. This one is designed to detangle children's hair fast and gently without tears.

It might be designed for a child but it can certainly be used on anyones hair if its tangly. The dolphins might not be everyone taste but I think its cute, They also have it in plain hot pink! Anyway the only other tangle brush I haven't tried is the Tangle Teezer which i want to try next, I have tried the Michel  Mercier one which I wasn't to impressed with.

So this has super soft nylon bristled which gently glide through hair removing tangles. It is also air-cushioned pad which follows the contour of the head from smooth, damage free grooming. I absolutely love this brush, the bristles are super soft which detangles your hair so nice without tugging.

It really does glide through your hair very smoothly. I am very impressed with this brush it really did the job and I think this is worth trying if you have knotty or curly hair. Plus the brush is perfect handbag size, its very light weight and comfortable to use!

One thing I would say is you have to brush your hair very thoroughly because they bristled are so soft it might not get all the layer underneath, but I always brush several times anyway.

School 'Emergency' Essential Kit!

Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I would write a School Post. This is going to be the emergency/essentials kit post, so I am going to show you all the things a girl should keep in her school bag!

So first you want to pick some sort of makeup/cosmetic bag, It should be concealed so know one can see inside and it also needs to be compact, but big enough to fit in the essentials, the one I'm using was £3 from primark.

First for makeup wise, you should keep a powder and mini kabuki in. This is perfect if you have oily skin and you can touch up your makeup. You should also have some sort of tinted/lip balm. Baby lips are the perfect example they give great moisturisation and slight colour.

You should have some form of mini deodorant to apply after PE/gym class and perfume for throughout the day. Another thing I like to have is hand sanitiser, this is just because there are alot of germs around and it leaves your hand smooth and clean.

The last few things you should have are paracetamol, make sure your school allows you to carry it first, because some schools don't supply paracetamol and if your feeling unwell its best to have one.

The last thing you should have is some form of 'girl protection'. You never know when you might come on so its good to be prepared. These are the liners from femfresh and these are good encase you do come on unexpectedly, and they are tiny so you can fit as many as you need. They are also breathable which offer long lasting freshness throughout the day so you can feel confident at school. Its also good to have a proper form of protection incase you do come on but these will tie you over you do.

Thanks much for reading this post, I hope your liked it and it became helpful for you. Not only can this be used for school this is perfect for everyday life and carrying about in your bag, bye

False Nails Tutorial/Review From Born Pretty Store!

Hi everyone!

Today I have a tutorial/review on how to shape and apply your own false nails! First of, the nails I am using are from Born Pretty Store. They are the full ones so they cover your whole nail and aren't just meant for your tips!

So there are sizes from 0-9. The bigger the number, the smaller the nail. So nine is the smallest and is more appropriate for the pinkie, and 0 is the largest for the thumb. There are 500 nail altogether so they are going to last you a long time and you have so many to chose from.

So all the nails are naturally long so what you will need to do is cut and shape them to the perfect shape you want. If you prefer them long then you can keep them like that, but if you want them shorter then you can clip them down and foil them square or oval.

So the first thing you want to do is make sure your nails are clipped down and all nail polish is removed. Then you want to match up all your nails the the false ones that fit right.

Then you are going to need to glue them on, pressing down with pressure for a couple minutes. Once they are all glued down you should let them set for five minutes or so. Then you want to start shaping, so if you want them shorter you should clip them down to the length you want, and foil them so the edges are not as sharp.

Once they are the length and shape you like, you should start to pick out the nail colour you would like them. I went for a classic red and this is 'St James' by Nails Inc. I wanted mine a medium length and squared of. Once I applied a couple coats of my nail polish, I waited for them to dry.

To add a special touch, you could add some nail art or diamante to jazz them up. I personally added some of these diamante bows on the middle finger. They are very large and make your nails super cute! You could opt for a smaller size for a more natural look if you liked.

These are the perfect way for long nails and these ones are strong and great quality. It a much cheaper option than getting them done at the salon. Plus you can re-do them because of how many there are so you get more for your money.

Thanks more for reading, let me know if you would like more nail tutorials and designs featuring these nails!

Frontcover To Go Macaroons Box Set!

Hi everyone,

So this is the second time I'm writing this post as it all deleted on me last time when I was just about the upload it! Anyway today I'm going to review the 'Frontcover To Go Macaroon' box set. This is the perfect box set to make loads of different eye looks in!

Whats included in the box set:

8 Domed Baked Eyeshadows
1 Double Ended Eyeshadow Brush
1 Shadow Base
1 Shadow Line
1 Quad Eyeshadow Palette

Eyeshadows Included:
Ginger
Praline
Caramel
Buttermilk
Apricot
Lavender
Mocha
Cinnamon

This box set fits everything in nice and handy so its perfect if you want to take it on holiday with you. You can create so many looks with it, and you have all the essentials you need!

Even better, it comes with a handy palette which you can fit 4 eyeshadows in. The thing I love is the single shadows are magnetic so they pop out so you can put in any shades you like!

The packaging of everything is so sleek and sturdy, its really nice! Plus you have 8 shadows to chose from, you can just pop the ones you have used that day into the palette and throw it in your bag to re apply during the day, or you can put in any that will suit the occasion you are going to.

This is the first time I have tried any shadows from Frontcover, and I must say I am very impressed. They give of a nice amount of pigmentation and have some gorgeous colours. There are matte shades, or some with shimmer, these ones give of a gorgeous pearl luminous finish.

L TO R (Ginger, Praline, Caramel, Buttermilk)

L TO R (Apricot, Lavender, Mocha, Cinnamon)

This is the shadow base, its a pretty nude/cream shimmery colour. This helps make your eyeshadows look more vibrant. Its a more creamy consistency than I would expect from a base.

These are the swatches from the shadow line. Basically what that does is, it turns any eyeshadow into a liquid liner. All you have to do is get the applicator tip and swipe it on the shade you like and simple, you have a liquid liner. You would think this would wreck your eyeshadow but it doesn't!

So that's it for this review, I hope you liked it, leave you thoughts in the comment and Ill talk to you in my next post, bye!

Updated Everyday Summer Makeup Routine!

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to show you all my makeup essentials I have been wearing this summer. I do have alot of makeup so I am swapping things up alot like lip and eyeshadow products, but I will show you some of my favorites.

Face Products:

Nivea Visage Young Be Beautiful Tinted Moisturiser
I cant find this online no more, but I love using this in the Summer because it gives you a nice glowing complexion and its one colour that adapts to your skin tone. Plus its oil free and has sun protection.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation- link.
If I'm having a bad skin day and I want abit of coverage, I still use this foundation, Its perfect for the summer and gives you a nice glow without being oily.

Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roll On Concealer - link.
This a great under eye brightener/concealer, especially in the summer. It a very thin consistency and feels like you don't have it on, also it does not crease under your eyes. It is also very soothing and cold when applied so it help with puffiness!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder- link.
This is a good overall powder for taking away some of the shine on your face, In the summertime I personally just like to use this in the t-zone so the rest of my face has a nice glow to it.

Eye Products:

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette- link.
This is the perfect palette for your essential shades of eyeshadow you will need. Its perfect for making the most natural looks, or making a more statement look and turning it into a dark smokey eye. They are super pigmented and last a nice amount of time.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo- link.
This is my favorite one in On & On Bronze. These are perfect if your in a hurry or having a lazy day, you can just blend this on your lids and your good to go, and they do last all day!

Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner -link.
This is an amazing gel eyeliner because it doesn't budge so if you in water your not going to look like a panda and have black all down your eyes. Also I prefer smudging abit of brown eyeshadow on my lower lash line instead of eyeliner to make it more natural.

Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara- link.
I would recommend a waterproof mascara but I don't wear them because it hurts my eyes to remove it. I have simply been curling my eyes lashes and then applying a thin coat of this mascara, its very natural and defines your lashes.

Lip Products:

Maybelline Baby Lips- link
I've mainly been using my Pink Punch one, It has such a nice feel on the lips and gives you nice moisture. It also has the most gorgeous sheer pink tint on your lip which can be built up for a more bright look. Plus, it smells amazing and has sun protection in! I also love Cherry Me which gives you a nice wash of cherry red.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer- link.
I have been wearing the shades Celestial and Nova for a more natural look, and then on a day when i want more colour i have been wearing Big Bang. These are a lip lacquer so they have the pigmentation of a lipstick but they are smooth so they don't dry out your lips. Also they last so much longer than a lipgloss!

So Im pretty sure those are most of my favorite product I have been using alot this Summer. Leave a comment telling me what yours are and thanks for reading, bye!

Casual Summer Beach Outfit!

Hi everyone!

Sorry its been so long! Today I'm going to write and show you guys some cute ideas of the perfect summer beach outfit. This will be nice for the great weather we have been having recently and perfect if you are on holiday! First thing I like is this...

White Lace Skater Dress-£18.00-link.

I really like these skater dresses for the summer time because they are really cute and casual. You can wear them with little accessories with a cute belt and some nice flats for a day look. Or you can dress the look up with more statement accessories and a nice pair of heel wedges. They have this in some other colors as well, but i thought the white would be nice on a nice sunny day. It gives that bright clean look.

If your not a girl who liked to wear dresses much, then shorts are perfect for this beach look.

Parisian Light Blue Denim Shorts-£10.00-link.
 White Edge Denim Shorts-£9.00-link.
I think both pair of these shorts are really nice and there colors go nice for this occasion. I feel if your going to wear tighter shorts, then maybe you should wear a more floaty top, then everything is tied together and looks right.  I feel like both of these tops would go nice!

 Always and Forever T-Shirt-£14.00-link.
I think this top would go nice with the light blue denim shorts:)

Daisy Cami-£26.00-link.
You could probably find cheaper ones from primark with similar prints.

Back Blouse With Collar And Stripes-£25.00-link.
Also think you could find cheaper ones, and maybe wear a cami underneath or a bandeau.

For shoes, I like both pair and you can either go casual with the flats, or more dressy with the wedges!

Black Cross Strap Peep Toe Wedges-£12.00- link.

Stone Embelished Ballet Pumps-£19.99- link.

The last items I'm going to show you are some bags that should go with these outfits!

Colourblock Flapover Satchel Bag-£40.00- link.
Chain and Quilt Detail Across Body Bag-£25.00- link.

That its for this post. I hope your liked my pieces I chose, leave me a comment telling me what you like/dislike about these peices, and what you would have put together! Thanks for reading, bye,
